Purnell Swett girls’ tennis coach David Leek finished first place in his age group at the Holden Beach Half-Marathon held Saturday, Oct. 7. David won the 60-64 age group in 2:05.32, 6.37 minutes ahead of the second-place finisher. Mike Mcgehean of North Myrtle Beach finished second with a time of 2:12.09. David was 78Th overall and the 50th male finisher. Next up, he will be competing in the OBX Marathon on Nov. 12.
